what is the answer what keeps fuel from leaking from fuel tank & how do u put the filter on line and insert it in tank
Tulizar
The outside diameter of the fuel line seals the tank. OEM lines seem to work best on most homelite products. Easiest way to deal with the fuel filter: Start with a new piece of fuel line. Slide filter into line (sometimes it's easier to force the line open with a small pair of pliers before inserting filter). To get the fuel line through the tank, you'll need a long piece of thin wire to use as a snake to pull the line through. Insert the wire into the fuel line hole in the tank until the other end reaches the tank nozzle where the fuel cap goes. Pierce the fuel line with the wire, then pull the wire with the line back through the tank. When the fuel line reaches the fuel line hole, you might want to use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it through the hole. Connect fuel line to carburetor nipple or fitting/line adaptor.
