This genuine OEM item is supplied for Husqvarna walk-behind lawn mowers. It is an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing control that was installed on a new unit. Self-propelling is controlled by holding the operator presence control bar down to the handle and pulling either drive control lever rearward to the handle. The further toward the handle a lever is pulled, the faster the unit will travel. If after releasing the drive control the mower will not roll backwards, push the mower forward slightly todisengage drive wheels. Note, this high-quality assembly includes the plastic housing, two control levers, and the drive control cable. Make sure to refer to the owner\\\'s manual and the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct installation and application of this component. Replacing it is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver.
