Look closely at the diagram on this site and watch a you tube video for help. The diagram on the eReplacement Parts website was very helpful since I wasn't able to find a diagram for the Husqvarna 775EX anywhere else. Get ready to remove the entire rear frame of the mower and the shrouding on the underside. Unfortunately, no good shortcuts I could find.
Note: The model name wasn't exact match but the transmission fit perfectly.

Place the belt around the transmission pulley, then stretch it around the adapter pulley on the engine shaft

Removed blade and belt cover
Disassembled lever control to remove cable
Removed belt pulley which is easier than getting to screws that loosen belt guards.
Installed cable in lever housing and reinstalled on handle bar
Cable tied belt around pulley to keep belt behind guards which screwing pulley back on
Connected belt to engine shaft, cut cable tie, and hooked the cable to transmission
Installed belt cover
Sharpened blade and checked balance.
Installed blade and connected spark plug wire
Mowed grass
Removed blade and belt cover
Disassembled lever control to remove cable
Removed belt pulley which is easier than getting to screws that loosen belt guards.

I actually went to you tube and watched the how to video. It made all the difference. It's
so easy these days to google or use you tube for any projects one needs info on before
doing it yourself. Great sites for info and to get list of sites for parts. I've used eReplacementParts on several ocasions. For me it was easy to do the job with the right part.
I will continue to use eReplacementParts in the future. Also while you have the project started
take extra time to clean and oil the area for future preventive maintenance before assembling
all the parts back together. Your equipment will run and last for a longer period of time. A clean
lawn mower will always run better when you clean it after every use.
