This genuine Makita replacement ball bearing is a standard item which has multiple uses based on your tool. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. Please check diagrams for proper application of this item. Bearings are designed to reduce friction between two connected rotating parts. It did the trick for a grinder.
It fit like a glove and preformed like a champ. The grinder runs as good as new.

    Correct part worked as intended
My power planer is working again. Good service, however it took over a week to receive the part. Too long with todays standard.

replacement stocks and sells wrong bearing
TWICE ereplacements sent the wrong Makita bearing! Then, after long phone conversations and part return they emailed the following: "We have had the incorrect inventory removed from the warehouse and the part has been reordered. We do not currently have any stock, so if you reorder there will be a wait for the new stock arrives." After two purchases and weeks of waiting, my planer is still out of service.
