This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement throttle cable designed for use with handheld gas string trimmers. Throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. This assembly consists of a metal throttle cable and a plastic housing. Please note the trigger and screws for the housing are sold separately.

1 Removed casing that contains pull rope.
2 remove choke "plate"
3 replace throttle wire
4 attach choke plate
5 put on new casing, pull rope included.
Tricky part, removing clutch. I had adjustable pliers that couldn't grip it well. They could grip it with a perpendicular grasp, so I stuck the screwdriver between the two wrench jaws and used the screwdriver as a lever.
