Description:
This is an OEM sourced replacement part used on a variety of Handheld Trimmers and Blowers/Vacuums. Switches are a commonly replaced part in power tools, handling on/off operations. Because switches use mechanical internals, they will degrade and wear out over time, eventually requiring replacement. It has a plastic body and it is sold individually.

To replace this switch you would need a Screwdriver.

• First make sure the tools is not plugged in
• Then you want to remove screws used to hold two pieces of housing set together
• Disconnect wires from the old switch and remove it from the housing
• Place the new switch in the housing and connect wires to it
• Reassemble the housing

Questions & Answers

My gas trimmer will not stop running when I push the on/off switch. Is my switch bad?
Mark Clark for model number Tb425cs
Hello Mark, thank you for your question. Yes, it sounds like the switch is bad. We would recommend replacing it, which is Part Number: 791-182405. Good luck with your repair!
Do you know whether this switch would be compatible with a Ryobi RY 08554 blower? The original switch for that blower (part no. 760363003) is no longer available. But this switch (no. 791-182405) looks very similar. Thanks. Ken Cowan
Ken Cowan for model number Part no. 791-182405
Hi Ken, we cannot find parts based on part dimensions as even parts that are the same size can have small differences that make them incompatible with your model. However you can contact the manufacturer to see if they have a suggested replacement. If they can provide you with a part number feel free to contact us back to see if we have the part in stock. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
