Product Description ?

This is an OEM sourced replacement part used with a variety of lawn and garden equipment. A spark plug delivers electric current from an ignition system to an internal combustion engine. After time spark plugs will become dirty or fouled. It is a good idea to replace the spark plug once this happens. This item is sold individually.

You should gap your spark plug according to the owners manual of the outdoor product you have.

You would need a spark plug wrench or a socket wrench to install the spark plug.

I removed the 2 bolts in front of the cover to be able to access the top bolts to the head gasket, then removed the heat shield from the muffler to access another blocked bolt, then the spark plug and remaining bolts. Cleaned the head with a steel brush. Cleaned it all up and put it all back together w the new gasket. Started up after a few pulls and ran stronger than ever.

I removed the spark plug and keep it connected and pulled on the rope to see if I could see any spark. No spark and it was a new spark plug. Replaced magneto. Started on second pull. Took around 15 minutes to remove and replace all the screws.

Went ahead and replaced Carburetor and air filter.

Pulled the carburetor off and rebuilt it. The idle jet was completely clogged. You'll need a very small diameter wire to clean it. I used a strand of copper wire. Reassembled and runs like new. Check for videos on how to do it. Very simple if you have ever turned a wrench.

Use socket to replace spark plug. Air filter does not require any tools. The primer bulb is held in place by a retainer ring so you need a sharp tool to get behind the ring and pry it out. Very simple to do.
