It is an authentic item which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Honda engines commonly installed on generators. The purpose of this outer filter is to help remove contaminants from the air that goes through the engine. Over time it will wear out and may get clogged eventually requiring a replacement. One durable foam filter is included. A screwdriver will be needed to remove the air filter cover to replace this component.
1- Clean engine
2- Remove air filter housing
3- Remove carb assembly
4- Put on new carb gasket
5- Put on new carb assembly
6- Reinstall air filter housing
7- Start motor!!
8- Motor runs great
