    Hello David, thank you for asking. This is a size between SAE 8-32 and 10-32. 0.80 metric thread pitch is the same as 32 tpi. We hope this helps.

    Parts Used
    1. Disassemble engine covers, muffler, carb, flywheel, head
    2. Clean and remove as much corrosion and mouse nest as possible
    3. Remove two broken head bolts that were corroded into cylinder
    4. Reseat valve seat and lap valves.
    5. Replace magneto, head gasket, head, two bolts, spark plug, some cylinder baffles.
    6. Repaint, reassemble. Starts and works fine!

    Old John Deere mower stopped working

    1. Tested for presence of spark-none found
    2. Searched for model number on front of mower
    3. Ereplacements had correct replacement magneeto for my model number (local repair shops did not have the part)
    4. Removed fuel tank and top cover, removed old magneeto
    5. Installed new magneeto and set proper gap between magneeto and flywheel using a business card.
    6. Replaced cover and fuel tank, sprayed a little starter fluid and off she ran!
