The foam precleaner is used with the air filter and assists with preventing dirt and debris from entering the engine. Foam filters can be cleaned with soap and water but may wear out eventually and will need to be replaced. This precleaner is sold as an individual replacement part, please note the air filter is sold separately.

2. Pulled up the blade deck for easy accessibility.
3. Removed the blades and sheared pins.
4. Replaced with new blades and shear pins.
5. Reassembled the deck to the mower body.
6. Started the mower and tested it out and it worked fantastic!

To remove a carburetor and put a new one on is a easy job, will need a mm socket set. The engine on the lawn tractor started up first time with no problems.
