This replacement mower blade is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with a variety of lawn mowers. Mulching lawn mower blades are designed to circulate the grass longer so it can be cut into smaller pieces. This makes your grass clippings better as mulch since the smaller clippings will decompose more quickly, releasing their nutrients into the soil. This blade is made out of metal and it is sold individually. To replace it you would need a wrench to remove the blade bolt.

Remove the blade
Remove the broken adapter
Install the new blade adapter, with the key inside lined up with the key way in the engine shaft
Place the new blade on the adapter, then the washers and tighten the new blade bolt

Placed a piece of wood inside the housing to stop the blade from turning. Remove the blade bolt and the washers, then the broken blade. Place the new blade on the shaft, followed by the washers. Then tightened up the blade bolt

First lubricated shaft and blade adapter to make it easier to remove. Used a hammer to carefully loosen blade adapter. Attached new blade adapter by pushing all the way on to shaft and aligning to groove on shaft. Assembled blade with bolt and torqued to 40 psi.

Take off the blade bolt, then the washers. Take off the broken blade. Put the new blade on the shaft. Put the washers on the shaft. Tighten the blade bolt.

1. Removed the bolt holding the old blade with the right-sized socket.
2. Carefully installed the new blade by threading the bolt into the bottom of the shaft holding the blade.

1. Followed ththe directions that Husqvarna supplied on the mower.
2. Pulled up the blade deck for easy accessibility.
3. Removed the blades and sheared pins.
4. Replaced with new blades and shear pins.
5. Reassembled the deck to the mower body.
6. Started the mower and tested it out and it worked fantastic!
Could not have done it without the excellent parts diagrams, part numbers, pictures and super fast shipping. Replacement parts.com is my go to for all of my parts and repairs.
