Easy Repair, Great Part, Works Great
The part was in very good condition when it arrived. I replaced the old switch with this one and the backpack blower now shuts off when I want it to!

    Easy to install
I couldn't turn off the Ryobi leaf blower this year so I resorted to using choke and trigger to turn it off thinking that the whole blower had to be completely taken apart in order to fix the issue, and taking it apart might create other issues. However, I noticed some strange sounds coming from blower and it having difficulty going to full throttle. So, I researched online and was lucky to find this website having a part listing and took a chance on replacing this switch after reading reviews on this site of others fixing the issue by replacing the switch alone. Thankfully, it worked! For installation, I just took off the three screws in the handle to create a small gap on top of the handle and slid out the old one and inserted the new one into the same wires. The switch seems to be OEM and is more responsive than the old one. Thank you, eReplacementParts!

Take your time in removing each of the screws holding the housing pieces to the motor. Each set of screwn needs to be kept together and marked so they go back to the same places. I just kept taking off piece after piece until I got to the parts needing replaced. Take it off and put on the new one then reverse the process until it is all back together.
