Excellent heavy duty blades - NOT cheap junk blades from other places
I was impressed with the weight and balance of these blades. They took a proper edge with minimal flat file work. They are very heavy duty OEM replacements and worth the small investment to get them. I did a side by die comparison for some generic blades and was very impressed with these. I bought three for a 54" deck.

I ordered the three bagging blades that the parts manual suggested. A mulching blade was in this order that I did not order and was charged for. I will be returning this blade.

    Socket set, bastard file

    1. Moved the tractor the night before to the workshop.
Got up the next morning and , using a floor jack, I jacked up the rear. Placed some jack stands under the rear tires. I removed one blade at a time and with the new blades I sharpened them with a bastard file by hand - no grinder required. Install was the opposite of reverse. Also greased all the zerk fittings while doing the blades.

    1. Raised the mower to give access to the underside of deck.
    2. Removed damaged left baffle and replaced 2 worn out carriage bolts which loosened the baffle to allow for damage.
    3. Installed new left baffle replacement which is made of metal like the original and not heavy plastic as described on the website.
    4. Removed and replaced damaged blade as well as other worn blades.
*Greatest challenge was raising and securing the front of the tractor to gain access to the deck. One needs a good hydraulic jack and stands. The rest is a piece of cake.
