    1. Removed flame tamer bars and discarded. No tools necessary
    2. Removed crossover tubes. Screws were rusted. Used vice grip pliers on the head of screws to back them out. Burners were in good shape and did not needed to be replaced.
    3. Parts were a perfect fit. Replacement cross over tubes were a perfect fit and came with new screws. No problems to install.
    4. Flame tamer bars were drop in replacements.
    5. Grill is ready for another 1000 burgers.

    I removed cooking grates from grill then slid old flame tamers out with just the hands, no tools required for this. Slid replacement flame tamers and replaced cooking grates. That's it, ready to grill again!

    Rotted flame tamers and burners

    Replaced the tamers and burners. The burner screws needed some liquid wrench. But I did remove them. Part of the front support for the tamers were rotted so I put a few screws in to provide a stud for the tamers to 'perch' on.

    Removed and replaced the side burner grate. Lifted the cooking grates out and removed and replaced the flame tamers. Then slid the old grease tray out and slid the new one in.

    The old burner were corroded and needed a little convincing to remove, But I did get them out. and easily replaced them. Then just remove the old flames tamers and replace them with the new ones.

    Some of the screws were corroded and had to sprayed with penetrating oil, and let soak for a while. I was lucky and was able to remove all of them. Then just simply screwed in the new tubes. Then you just lift the grates out and remove the flame tamers and install the new ones.

    So easy to fix. Paid attention to how the old burners and flame tamers were set and it was easy to replace them. Lit the grill and started cooking dinner. Yep it was that easy!
