    Tools Used

    Screwdriver, Vice grips

    1. Removed the grates from the grill along with the metal guards over the burners.
    2. Used a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws at both ends that hold the crossover tube to the burners. For the screws that were rusted into place I used some penetrating oil and a pair of small Vice grips to clamp onto the screw head to break it loose.
    3. Installed the new crossover tube with the new screws included with the tube.

    Carry over tubes rusted out, and grates needed replacing (grates were 14 years old)

    Repair is easy;
    1. Remove grill grates
    2. Remove flair guards (the V shaped metal pieces)
    3. Remove old Carry over tubes (might need to be drilled out if bady rusted)
    4. Install new Cary over tubes
    5. Install new flair guards
    6. Install new grates.

    Only issue I ran into was only one grate showed up. Website shows a 3 pack, box said 3 pack, however only 1 was shipped. I have tried to contact the company several times via phone, and e-mail, and still no response. After waiting almost 4 weeks for the items to ship, and the items not being received correctly, I may use a different vendor in the future. If they are willing to make this right, I can change this review.

    Simple repair to replace all working parts on grill - less than $40 to make a $400 grill good as new.

    Didn't get the ignition module on the first go round. Headed back to do that now. Most of the grill was well made with Stainless steel panels and those look like new. The few panels that are not stainless can be painted or replaced. Simple task and took only a few minutes. Grill works like new again and will start a bit better after replacing the ignition module.

    Aside from the carryover tubes listed, I got new burners and burner covers.

    No special instructions needed. More intuitively obvious than calculus.
