    Replacement filter element
Received part sooner than expected. Was correct part and fit properly. It was a bit pricey with the shipping costing as much as the part itself, but my machine is back in service again.

What type of oil is used on the filter PN 279-32612-08
Renold for model number EX300D52011 asked on 2022-09-18
Hello Renold, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and recommend using a 4 cycle automotive detergent oil (API/SE or higher grade, SAE /10W-30) and to wash it in kerosene or diesel fuel, then soak the air filter in a mixture of 3 parts kerosene/diesel fuel and 1 part engine oil. We hope this helps and if you need a part in the future and need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Engine had set up for almost 3 years. Old gas in the carburetor gummed it up so bad it needed to be replaced. When I took off the air element it fell apart so it was replaced also. Carburetor is held on by only 2 nuts. Take the nuts off and remove the gas hose. Take the carburetor off trying not to damage the gaskets. If you tear the gaskets you will have to replace them. Put new carburetor on and replace gas hose and air breather. Turn gas back on and turn engine switch on. Pull starter rope 3 or 4 times with choke on and engine started. Yea
