Why did I wait so long to replace my worn wheels?
This was arguably the easiest repair - easier than replacing a spark plug! The bushing on one of the old wheels didn't want to come off, so I just pushed the new wheel on, and the new bushing came out. No problem, I just saved the bushing, might need it later.

Removed the hex nuts from the axles, then removed the wheels. I cleaned up the axles and lubed them. Then I put the new wheels on the axles and tightened the hex nuts.

All that needs to done is to, remove the nuts that are holding the wheels on, remove the old wheels and put the new ones on and tighten the nuts.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CABLE REPAIR
1. Disconnect the cable from both the control handle and the throttle of the mower.
2. Cut one end of the connectors off to pull the cable completely out of the rubber coating.
3. Remove the old cable.
4. Snap in the cable connect towards the top of the mower by the drive handle.
5. Connect the cable to the mower end FIRST. (It makes the process much easier when connecting the cable to the control handle.
6. Connect the cable to the drive handle and the cable should be installed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR WHEEL REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the wheel with a socket wrench (with mower on its side).
2. Remove old wheel and place new wheel on the axle.
3. Replace plastic cover on the inside of wheel to keep debris from getting into the drive gear.
4. Tighten the wheel with a socket wrench, not too tight where that it can't move, but tight enough that it will not fall off.
5. Repeat steps for the other side.

Power Drill, Socket set, bits for 8 sided screws
Took both wheels off and used a 8 sided bit on both screws that hold gears on. I used a socket that fit the bit and used this on the left gear, then I used a power drill with the other bit on the right gear to break it loose so I could replace it. Also there is a pin that goes through the shaft that fits inside the gear when you reinstall the gear. It may fallout when you remove the old gear. Make sure you put it back in when you install the new gear or the wheel will not work.

To replace the front traction wheels I loosened/removed the bolts on the front wheels installed the front wheels then installed/tightened the bolts. For the blade my wife stood on the handle of the mower to elevate the cutting deck allowing access to the blade. Then with the blade between my feet to keep it still I loosed/removed the bolt then attached the new blade tightening the bolt secure. Worked like a charm perfect fit for all three items. Couldn't be more please cut like new.
