Removed left wheel and spray gear and backing plate and replaced all three with new. Re installed the new parts and mowed my yard.

Front wheels bald on front wheel drive mower

Parts Used
1. Removed front wheel covers with flat head screw driver
2. Propped front of mower on a 4x4 to lift wheels off ground
3. Used 9/16 socket wrench to remove nut
4. Pulled wheel off axel
5. First wheel came right off BUT second wheel was stuck
6. Sprayed WD40 onto wheel bolt and worked it loose BUT sleeve stayed on bolt
7. Sprayed with WD40 and worked it off
8. Reassembled wheels and covers back onto mower
