Easy to replace the broken one. Wonder why they made them out of plastic?

    Great Service
Blade Chuck did not fit our saw too loose and sloppy I guess the saw has worn too much but one of our members made some shims after I had asked and received permission to return these parts and they now fit perfectly. So will not be returning parts. Excellent company to deal with. Thanks Dave

    Exactly what I needed
Ordering this from E-Replacement was a no-brainer ... I ordered from them several times in the past. It "installed" just like you'd think - just screwed it into the clamp assembly. Wish all my problems were so easy to resolve!

    Easy Repair, worked as expected
It came in good time, assembled easily and fixed the problem. Scroll saw is working well again.

What should come from the factory
This is a must have for anyone using very small blades in their scroll saw. It makes blade tightening very easy and you don't have to use pliers to loosen the blade.

Chuck would not hold tension after 11 years. Clamp knob just in case that was that was the problem it was not, but good to have a spare.

R & R the blade clamp and replaced the clamp knob.
Want to pass on some information that I learned. Dewalt put that clamp knob on there for a reason. When you think that your poor lil fingers hurt from loosening and tightening & you want to start adding aftermarket knobs to ease the pain. Save yourself the trouble & expense. They are too heavy and the add to much pressure to the alum threads inside that blade clamp. We find out sometimes that we are not smarter than the manufacturer & the engineers that design these machines. My saw was bought in 1997, used it daily. Six months ago I added this alum knob, top & bottom and well you know the rest.

After noticing the thumb screw at a slight angle I replaced chuck , for the 3rd time, thumb screw and set screw fixing the problem of blades popping off or losing tension. The problem seems to be the chuck being made from cast aluminum when it should be made from steel to last longer, or at least a steel thread insert
