This is an original part from the Metabo manufacturer. The carbon brush set cut-off is compatible with the W 9-115 Quick (00371420) Small Angle Grinder. This item is fitted onto the complete brush housing, one on each side of the field coil. The purpose of brushes is to conduct current in an electric motor that powers the tool. This part is sold individually. A screwdriver is needed to make the proper removal and replacement.

I just received a number of brush sets P/N 316045820. However they have a female connector and the original are male. There is also a 315 printed on the original, can you recommend the correct part number. 316055200 seems the closest I can find so far.

2. Pry brush holders out of body.
3. Disconnect brush wires.
4. Lift brush springs and pull out brushes.
5. Blow out dust with compressed air.
6. Installation is reverse order.
