This is a genuine manufacturer-authorized replacement carbon brush set that is specially made for Metabo angle grinders. Carbon brushes are a commonly replaced item on power tools. Carbon brushes through friction and use will gradually wear away eventually requiring replacement. It is advised to replace both brushes at the same time. This set includes two carbon brushes with attached lead wires, please note brush holders are sold separately.

Need burshes , help I have five units down they are the flat slide in type , on the brush, not the curled slip on type The ones shown on your site for the wp 9 are the flat type ends , but for the wp 11 itshows the curled? Will the brushes for the wp 9 work in the wp 11 unit ? Wish they wouldn't have made so m,any different ones .Love the Metabo's I'm getting20 plus months , before they quit

Youtube video specific to metabo grinders. Housing removed, carbon brush holders removed one at a time. Specific pattern for placement copied the brush that hadn't been removed. I would suggest removing one at a time so the other one can be used as a pattern.

1.Remove left and right brush covers using a T-4 torx bit drive\
2.Lift brush spring up and to the side with a small pick.
3. unplug and slide up out brush holder .
4. insert new brush in to brush holder using small pick reinsert bush spring reconnect wire.
5. repeat for other side

I removed the back housing of the grinder. I disconnected the brush terminals. Then lifted the brush springs up and pulled the old brushes out and put the new brushes in, then let the spring go in behind the new brushes. And connected the brush terminals. Then I put the back housing back on.
