Tightened last remaining screw enabling continued operation. Installed the remaining 3 screws when the arrived. Lucky it was discovered before recoil start/rope came off. Love ereplacement parts.com First place I looked for OEM replacement parts and the schmatics make it east to find and order.

After first trying the bushings to no avail I replaced the bearing which I failed to notice was seized up. The new bearing did the trick. Runs like a new sander. The screws stripped during disassembly so I replaced them and I threw in a new brake whether needed or not since I've used this sander heavily for the past 18 - 19 years.

Having the instructions that came with the sander helped a lot.
Just disassembled the sander taking out everything in order and laying them out the same way on the workbench, then punched out the old bearing and replaced it with the new one. then just put everything back together the way it came out .
Like Magic it worked. Do take the time to blow it all out before assembly.
Don`t be afraid, its cheaper than buying a new one.
