After studied the construction of replacement bag, I learned how to open the old one which was very tight to figure out how it was clamped to sander case.
1. Remove/open bag to clean up dust;
2. Push out the spring retainer;
3. Twist & clamp the bag holder "hanger" to enlarge the rim to get it out of track around opening of sander case.
4. Apply similar method to enlarge opening of new bag and snap it into track around opening of sander case.
5. Push retaining spring back to position.
6. Close bag.

Question: Dust Bag

992211

How do I remove the "fixed" dust bag?

Hello 992211,

It may be stuck a little . But if you just pull on the bag holding the rectangular piece up front. it should come right off. Sometimes they do have a tendency to get stuck because of saw dust and other debris.

Hope this helps,
-WJA
