    Piece of cake repair
My compressor wouldn't fill and I ordered this kit. It arrived quickly and in good condition. It was very easy to install. I also found the manifold on top of the cylinder need replacement too. When I received it I had an extra set of gaskets since both parts came with the gaskets. After replacement of both parts my compressor fills much quicker than before! $100 worth of parts, 1/2 hour or so of labor and problem solved. Beats spending over $300 for a new compressor!

Simply follow the directions that come with the kit, they describe the whole process. In my case I had to do an extra step because the new cylinder sleeves were slightly longer than the originals and had a lip at the bottom that wouldn't let the piston head fit through from the bottom. I had to remove the connecting rods and feed the pistons through from the top. Other than that if you just follow the instructions that come with the kit it's real easy. The compressor fills up quick now and is much quieter.

After looking at you tube- we took apart the compressor and located the cylinder. the gasket had a tear in it and the cylinder itself was etched. We ordered cylinder replacement kit and a new valve plate assembly. Parts arrived in a few days. Watched you tube again to see how to replace parts. Was relatively easy to do and now compressor is working great.
Saved ourselves from having to buy a new compressor. thanks

    1. Replaced the cylinder and valve plate but same problem.
    2. Noticed the eccentric was broken would not grip the motor shaft.
    3. Eccentric is no longer available.
    4. Drilled through the eccentric and motor shaft and installed a pin.

Wish there was an instruction on aligning the fan with an offset hole.

Made sure compressor was unplugged from power source, removed cover bolts and cylinder head bolts, since piston seal was worn out slid cylinder sleeve out, removed the Allen head bolt from piston and removed worn out seal. While holding fan on motor to where piston about halfway down installed new cylinder sleeve and turned fan to where piston at top dead center. Placed the new seal on it then attached top and tightened the Allen bolt. Separated two plates and replaced gaskets after cleaning debris off. Reassembled the cylinder head bolts and torqued down , then reinstalled motor cover and two bolts. Plugged in and turned on compressor and it started building pressure fast, found two leaks on metal tube line tightened the ends and back to better than new. Thanks to the company as they saved me and my dad about $480 for a new compressor that was about the same cfm rating.
