with one torx screw on each head removed the worn out piston rings, and replaced with new ones. Reinstalled reed Plate and head with new O-rings and wallah, sears compressor works like a new one again after 25 years of use.
I think what happen was. Over time. Two of the head bolts came loose. Causing two of them to break off. Which caused to of the o rings to break.

2 removed the ⅜ aluminum line from the compressor head to the tank.
3 removed the 4 bolts from the head.
4 removed the O-rings that were defective, and replaced with new ones.....clean as needed.
5 put it all back together in the reverse order that was disassembled.
6 job completed, plug in the air compressor and test.
