Remove side cover , remove chain, tensioner, and sprocket' remove nut and belt' then remove pulley. go back together in revierce order with new pulley.

Parts Used
1) removed the blades
2) removed the gear box assembly on both sides and the belt and pulley using an impact
hammer and wheel puller
3) Removed cotter pin and then pounded out the cutter head
4) Attached the new bearings to the cutter head using a jig I made.
5) pounded the cutter head back into the assembly after cleaning out the place with an air
compressor blower.
6) reattached the new pulley and key along with the belt.
7) reattached the gearing on both sides along with the gear box
8) added new blades and assembled it completely and tested it out - beautiful cuts.

Pulley had come loose after nut fell off. Ruined those parts and the key

Cutter head replacement

I ordered the Shelix head for my planer. The first one I received had damaged threads and would not accept the nut. When I shipped it back to the company, I forgot to remove the busing from the head. When I received the replacement Shelix head, I realized that I no longer had the bushing and ordered it. It was simple to slide it onto the shaft of the cutter head. Ereplacementparts.com shipped to order the day after I ordered it. I also ordered the key from them the following week when I dropped the one that came with the machine and could not find it on the floor.
