Acid from my battery ate plastic parts
I have a snapper lawnmower, that you can tip up and store and forgot to remove the battery, yes I’m an idiot! But the acid ate anything plastic and even some wire. But you guys came through and I ordered up my parts, which was easy, and everything went perfect, your a great company!

    Delayed part and pricey shipping.
Nothing wrong with the part. Just expected this part to be in stock at a briggs dealer. Had to wait 4 weeks for the part. Once it was shipped it took 7 days to get to my home. You guys need to work on your shipping department. It has to be faster and cheaper. I probably would have been better off getting this part thru another site

Removed entire throttle/governor control bracket, along with the governor spring. Installing the new unit was somewhat difficult, due to the limited space available for the tools and my hands. Installing the governor spring after the bracket was installed, is impossible. Found it best to connect the throttle cable to the bracket first; then the spring to the governor lever; place the bracket close enough to attach spring to the bracket; and then fasten the bracket in place with the 3 screws. This provides a little more room for the hands and tools.
It may also be best to buy a new governor spring when ordering the control bracket.
The main reason the job took me so long, I had to learn by trial and error, the sequence of reinstalling the pieces. Secondly, my old fingers are not what they where when I was younger.
There is very little space to work in between the the seat and the engine. It is 20 years old, and I am pushing 90.

Took out old filter and replaced with new. Throttle control removed screws and unhooked wires and spring. Put back on new one and reattached. New bracket did not have the threaded hole for throttle control lever put on a new one with a nut, lock washer and flat washer. Put jb weld on end of nut so vibration of log splitter would not loosen it.
