    What is the standard thread type and dimensions on this transmission assembly?

    Hello Toby, diameter is approximately 2-1/4". However, we do not find the thread type. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer of the unit directly. Good luck with your repair.

    Screwdriver, powerdrive (six point star) tips

    Removed screws from case.
    Removed screw left handed threads!) from inside chuck
    Separated case halves
    Pulled motor/trans/chuck assy loose, no need to mess with wiring.
    Separated trans/chuck from motor.
    Put trans in vise, used pipe wrench to remove chuck.
    Put chuck on new trans.
    Transferred 1-2 shifter.
    Put trans/chuck on motor.
    Worked to get everything lined up properly, reassembled case halves.
