How do I install a idler traction drive spring?

Hello Joe, Thank you for writing. The easiest way is to attach one of the ends to either the drive lever or the idler pulley bracket then have a strong piece of string tied to the other end of the spring then pull it into place. Best Regards

Snowblower Drive Not Working

1. Removed the belt cover
2. Noticed there was no tension on the drive belt tension pulley.
3. Discovered the pulley spring was broken.
4. Ordered new spring.
5. Installed new spring.
6. Tested snowblower drive -- worked like new.
