Product Description ?

This is an authentic kit made for the lid on Weber grills. This is a 14-part set that includes two posts, two retaining clips, and ten hex nuts. The posts are used to secure the lid to the body of the grill while allowing it to swing freely as a hinge. The ends of the posts have small holes that the retaining clips slide into to keep them in place.

One of the clevis pins that act as the hinge for the top of the grill had broken. It seemed like it would be a simple repair - knock out the old clevis pin and slide in the new one. Unfortunately, both old pins were rusted solid, were fused to the frame and wouldn't budge.

I had to use the Dremel saw attachment to flatten them flush with the frame then drill them out.

Once drilled out, the new clevis pin slid right in.
