Product Description ?

This is an authentic OEM self-tapping bolt used on Toro snow throwers/blowers. It is designed to secure the bushing/gear case assembly together. By using a wrench and a self tapping bolt, precisely fitted threads are created in the opening of the case. This allows for the two part to be secured tightly together. Please note this bolt is sold individually.

Questions & Answers for Self Threading Bolt

2011 Toro Timecutter 5000, model 74630, serial 311005245. Replacing spindle and shaft that operates center blade. Replacement spindle (117-7266) has no threads to bolt down spindle from upper side of deck. What do I use to attach this spindle and shaft to the mower deck?
Bill for model number 74630 asked on 2023-05-29
Hello Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. You would use the self threading bolts-part# 32144-41 and a wrench, which would create the threads in the spindle. We hope this helps.

I had removed the deck and made several repairs to holes in the deck then I replaced the spindle and spindle mount. Then remounted the deck, connected the belts to drive pulleys and I was back mowing my four acres with a machine that runs better than new. Thank you
