This is an authentic OEM part used in Chicago Pneumatic tools. The seat-throttle is made from hard rubber and is used in multiple tools. It is designed to absorb shock and fits between the valve throttle and the o-ring. An Allen wrench and a hammer may be required to install the throttle. This part is sold individually.

Constantly leaked air
Removed throttle assembly to see what was broken. Spring was rusty and throttle seal was gone. Cleaned and polished throttle bore, lubed and reassembled. So far, working fine.

Removed old grip and tapped out role pin replaced old throttle seat one seals and reassembled.

Impact gun ran at full speed only
Remove roll pin near base of handle with punch.
Remove air assembly, o rings, seat and gasket. Note orientation of seat.
Reverse steps to reassemble.

Throttle seat was bad and constantly ran
Removed roll pin removed throttle parts replaced all o rings and throttle seat replaced every thing replaced. Then replaced the roll pin
