This genuine OEM temperature sensor, also referred to as a temperature probe or oven thermostat, monitors and regulates the internal temperature of your oven. Signs of a broken temperature sensor include inconsistent temperature readings, longer heating times, or frequent temperature fluctuations during cooking. If your oven fails to reach the desired temperature or if there is a noticeable difference between the displayed and actual temperature, it could indicate a faulty sensor. When replacing the temperature sensor, start by removing the back panel of the oven. Then, disconnect the old sensor and securely connect the new sensor in its place. Once that is done, reattach the back panel. Remember to always disconnect the power before starting any repairs and make sure to follow the installation instructions provided for your specific oven model.
