Really it\'s straight forward I was doing this in about 20 degree weather not to mention and was still very easy.. What I really liked about the parts I received is they come with new hardware ( bolts) as well .. Great idea just for the fact existing hardware does get rusty from the heat so I would recommend having a socket set vs just a screw driver .. More than likely removing old parts will result in stripped screws etc.. So that why I would use sockets .. Never took apart a grill before but with common sense it is easy .. It\'s for sure much more cost effective than replacing entire grill.. My grill would of been around 800 bucks to replace it .. I bought my parts and working as good as new for 150 bucks .. Very good site to buy parts from ..

With ease the only 4 screws i had to remove where the ones at the end of the burner tubes closest to the back of the grill the old tubes where rusted and not burning even the flavor bars where getting thin and i just why not throw in the new grates and finish freshing the grill up plus i removed the grease catch that takes the liners and put a small galvanized can down under so i can go all year then just add the grease to my compost

I followed the instructions for disassembly. The challenge was removing the rusted screws that held in the burner tubes. I twisted the old tubes off and then used a vice grips to remove the rusted screws. I replaced the burner tubes and flavorizer bars but realized that I also need to replacer the ignition setup and wires. So I ordered mo re parts which arrived in just a few days. I now have a \"like new\" rebuilt Weber Genesis grill.
