Replacing this part does not require any tools, this Knob fits over the Regulator Shaft. Please note Bezel is Sold Separately.

The replacement gas manifold (the assembly with the gas valves the knobs attach to) came complete with a step by step (along with diagrams) instructions for removing the parts to get to the manifold, replacement and reassembly steps. Quite easy to follow. I spent more time gathering tools than actual work.

The grill was knocked over in extremely high winds and all of the controls for the burners were bent or snapped off

I removed the necessary components to access the gas manifold bolt locations, disconnected the gas supply lines, and removed the damaged unit. Just follow the instructions provided and you will back in operation in no time.

Fairly easy replacement for somebody that can take something apart and remember how it goes back together. Just need to be careful not to damage the ignitor wires or you will end up having to replace them as well.

1. Removed the shelf under the manifold.
2. Removed the front cover over the manifold.
3. Disconnected the manifold fitting and the supply hose.
4. Removed the screws holding the manifold.
5. Removed the manifold.
6. Installation is in reverse of removal.

1) Attempt to remove from cover assembly.
2) Download exploded view of grill to find where appropriate fasteners were located.
3) Removed control knob cover.
4) Disconnected gas lines to manifold.
5) Removed manifold.
6) Reversed the process.

Used a pair of pliers to remove faulty ignitor and installed new part in less than five minutes. Installed new control knob by hand.
