Product Description

?

It is a genuine manufacturer-supplied set of stainless steel grates that are specially made for use with Weber grills. Grates are placed on top of burners to provide a user with a stable cooking area. Unfortunately, over time they may get stained or damaged, eventually requiring a replacement. Note, this high-quality set includes four durable stainless steel grates. Replacing this is a simple task that does not require any special tools, simply lift off the old grates and place the new ones on the grill.

The original burner tube set were impossible to remove with a socket set.
I had to saw them off.
Once that was done, I followed the instructions and it went well.
They were original equipment (9 years)...maybe that caused the issue?
Anyway, it might be good to note that a 5/16 socket may not loosen the bolt .

With ease the only 4 screws i had to remove where the ones at the end of the burner tubes closest to the back of the grill the old tubes where rusted and not burning even the flavor bars where getting thin and i just why not throw in the new grates and finish freshing the grill up plus i removed the grease catch that takes the liners and put a small galvanized can down under so i can go all year then just add the grease to my compost
