I broke the original feeder after attempting to "widen" the feeder by using a punch.

The nail magazine broke a small piece of the track. This allowed the nail feeder to slide out of the magazine. The spring then comically shot the parts across the room.

2 removed socket head cap screw from retainer
3 slid new sprin into the new magazine
4 slid new nail plate onto spring with the connector
5 while holding nail plate back replaced retainer on magazine
6 tested spring and feeder
7 shot some nails
Nail feeder and feeder piece were gone and spring was bent.

Put yellow plunger on spring
Placed nail feeder in plunger.
Took latch piece loose and inserted assembly into gun.
Replaced latch piece.
It was done.

Feeder was slipping past nails causing it to get wedged and not feed nails.

Pulled magazine free making sure to hold on to the feeder spring.
Used 1/8 inch diameter punch to remove keeper pin from spring loaded latch attached to the worn magazine cover.
Installed old latch and spring onto new magazine cover.
Transferred old nail feeder spring into new magazine cover with new feeder.
Reinstalled onto gun body.
The nail feeder plate kept sliding up under the rack of nails and jamming in the track
