My new ignition is an exact match to the original part, so it doesn't look like some funky imposter part. # On the green

    key
Fit and worked perfect. I was disappointed this did not come with a key or at least mentioned that it would need one. I had to order separately, which meant waiting longer.

A little hard getting out the ignition switch didn't want to break the hold down tabs but understandable trying to pull something out. Hooked the leads to the switch terminal as they were on the old one. Everything else a breeze. Line up the discharge chute and bolted it on. Just a remove and replace fit like a dream. Can't wait for my next project on it.

Actually, having not tested the mower's parts I did not know what the problem was. I replaced incrementally each part and still no action. Turned out it was a safety switch hidden under the rear carriage. I bi-passed it and it started right up. Back to the switch, replacement is simple. Thirty seconds. As for the solonoid, easy replacement but the difficulty is space. It is stuck under the carriage by the battery and is not easily accessible. Working space is limited.
