This is a complete assembly, which is used to warm the air as it passes through the fan. You may require a screwdriver when replacing this item. This part is sold individually.

    I found it easier to replace the entire heater component rather than attempting to replace the heating element. It was more costly but I believe it made replacement easier.

    Ventilation fan noise and heater did not work!

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Nutdriver

    1. Removed plastic Len cover
    2. Removed cap nut on light reflector
    3. Removed light reflector from housing
    4. Removed cover
    5. Took a picture of wire harness connections
    6. Removed 2 screws from heater assembly
    7. Removed heater assembly
    8. Ply one side of ventilation fan assembly to unhook side inserts
    9. Removed fan motor assembly from housing
    10. Place motor assembly on double 2x4’s to free fan.
    11. Tap center of fan assembly to remove fan
    12. Reverse the above to complete the installation

    Heating unit burnt out.

    I decided to replace the fan unit as well as the heater assembly, so that I wouldn’t have to return to the job site. Just an ounce of prevention. The unit fit like a glove.

    Heater no longer worked.

    Screwdriver, Pliers

    Turned off electric to heater/light.
    Removed cover from fixture.
    Unscrewed bolts holding unit.
    Unplugged heater assembly and removed it from fixture.
    Plugged in new unit. Screwed in bolts holding unit.
    Replaced fixture cover and turned power back on. And VOILA it worked
