| This part comes directly from Oster Pro. The Grease Seal is used in many models of clippers made by Oster Pro. The Seal is made of felt that has been cut and compressed for the correct size. This part helps to keep hair out of the gearing while retaining the grease. When installing this part saturate it with oil to provide the best seal. This part needs to be replaced when it has fallen apart. Two Seals are needed in each clipper. |

Oster Classic 76 motor noisy
As I'm sitting in the barber chair, I notice the clippers are very noisy. Mention it to my barber who tells me the only fix is replacing the clippers. I disagree and he gives them to me to bring home and check out.
Disassembled clippers
Found motor end bushings worn, gears worn causing noise.
Purchased all bearings, seals, and gears.
Greased/oiled and reassembled, retested, that's one happy barber!
Please note, if the motor field does not come out of the housing easily, it will need to be pulled out using a small gear puller or other homemade puller tool.
