Description:

This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines that are commonly installed on Toro lawn and garden equipment. The carburetor intake gasket which provides an air tight seal for the carburetor. Over time gaskets tend to deteriorate and would need to be replaced. It is made from durable composite material and it is sold individually.

log splitter 8 h.p. engine leaking gas

removed the carburetor from engine.
removed the gasket -intake-carburetor
removed the manifold
checked the replacement part to the gasket on the manifold, they weren't the same size
assessed that current gasket for the manifold was still in very good shape.
didn't use the gasket provided.
put the manifold back on
replaced the gasket - intake- carburetor

Would only run with choke on

Disassembled carburetor and cleaned in solvent ,reassembled with new parts(gaskets and Welch plug), new spark plug..runs like Swiss watch now!
