This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Ryobi backpack blower/vacs. The gasket is used to form a seal between the carburetor and the heat dam and to insulate the carburetor from heat produced by the cylinder. It is recommended to replace gaskets when servicing the engine to ensure proper seals when reassembling the engine parts. This gasket is available as an individual replacement part.

I took them apart looked on your web site saw other peoples comments and followed them i replaced 2 blocks and fixed them they work great it was cheaper then buying another one glad i saw your web site saved me lots of money. Thanks the 2 short blocks was great idea and found it was a learning experience

Not a seriously difficult project but requires some level of experience dong this sort of repair but not too bad.
Job would have been done in a little over an hour but found one of the mounting screw holes had not been tapped so that added some time. required a metric thread tap set.
Be sure to order the two gaskets required for the job.
My only warning would be to make sure the shaft is centered on the magneto. There is a little wiggle room with the motor mounts so if not centered the flywheel could strike the pickup coils.
