Questions & Answers

The tank is full of gas but there is no flow of gas from the fuel hose. is there an internal valve of some sort or do I have a blocked fuel outlet? The hose is clear.
Charles for model number 12T1 02 0911 F8
Hello Charles, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking or replacing the Valve-Fuel Shut Off, Part Number: 698180.The shut-off valve attaches to the bottom of the fuel tank and is used to link the fuel line and to control the flow of fuel that goes to the engine. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Your answer to my last question was excellent. NEXT: If I have the tank off, sitting flat on the bottom, and full of fuel, should I get fuel flow from the outlet or is it shut off and requires a demand suction from the carburator?
Charles for model number 12T1 2 911 F8
Hello Charles, Thank you for contacting us. The valve is a shut off valve and will require suction from the carburetor. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
In follow up to your answer to my previous question: There is no fuel shut off valve anywhere on the tank or in the fuel line to the carburator. The tank is a one piece, molded tank. The part number is 499585.
Charles for model number 12T1 2 911 F8
Hi, Charles and thank you for the question. If the tank is off and disconnected from the fuel line the fuel should flow out freely if the cap is off. Also, check for a plugged outlet. Hope this helps.
