This replacement fuel tank assembly is specially manufactured for use with Briggs and Stratton engines installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is an authentic part sourced directly from original equipment producer. This tank holds the fuel needed for the engine. It is made out of plastic and it includes the fuel tank and the cap. Please note the hardware to secure it and the fuel lines are all sold separately.

    Empty the remaining fuel in the tank. Remove the bolts holding the cracked fuel tank, remove the clamps on the fuel line and remove the old fuel line, and fuel shut off valve. Installed the new parts in reverse order.

    Original plastic gas tank leaking/cracked. Also fuel line from tank to carb. cracked from age. Needed to replace both.

    1. Disconnected fuel line to carb.
    2. Removed fuel tank from engine.
    3. Attached new fuel line to new fuel tank.
    4. Mounted new fuel tank with new line to engine.
    5. Connected fuel line to carb.
    6. Added fuel to fuel tank.
    7. Started engine to make sure of no fuel leaks.
    8. All done!
