Is the 799585 part the correct cap for my mower
James for model number 09p602-0076-F1 asked on 2022-06-18
Hello James, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and although this part is listed as compatible to your model, there are two compatible fuel caps depending on the code date after the model and type code. This cap has the holder on the side and is used for models with Code Date 16100300 and earlier, meaning for engines produced prior to October 3rd 2016, and part# 596250 is the other compatible fuel cap with the holder in the middle of the underside of the cap and goes into the fuel tank, and is used after code date 16082800 (August 28th 2016). We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
