Description:
This is an authentic OEM replacement part used on lawn and garden engines. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This Carburetor is a auto-choke system.

If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.

This assembly includes a metal body carburetor, rubber o-ring and a gasket. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair.

I tried to clean the old carburator but it did not work so I ordered the new one.
I pulled the top cover from mower just to have more room to work. I removed the air filter then the carburator, I then mounted the old carburator to the mower, unplugged the fuel line from the old carb and plugged it to the new one, replaced air filter and top cover pulled rope and lawn mower started immediately. Could not have been any easier.

Sat for a few years with fuel and water tn the fuel tank and carburetor.
1. I check the fuel tank and found water and varnished fuel in it.
2. I then pull the carburetor off and took it apart to find that it was to varnished up and corroded from the water in old fuel for repair.
3. I purchased a new carburetor and installed it on the mower flush the fuel tank and changed the oil and put a new spark plug in it and it fired up on the first pull. 😊
