Product Description ?

Genuine Bostitch replacement part, this item is sold individually.
There are two of these gaskets used on the compressor models shown below.
They are placed in between the AB-A640050 Valve Plate Assembly.
The purpose of the gaskets is to create a seal so air will not leak out.
Over time these will wear and have to be replaced.

This would be a good time to inspect the Valve plate Assembly for wear also.

Parts were fairly easy to replace. Would have liked some instructions included.
Bought 4 parts , quick delivery and repair wasn't too bad. The plate for the piston ring was a bit tricky . After we found there was a certain way to line up the cap for the ring things went more smoothly.

First I leak checked every fitting on the compressor while the pump was running.
No leaks. Therefore I figured it had to internal to the pump. I removed the head of the pump exposing the valve plate. One of the reeds was snapped off. I then ordered a replacement valve plate and new gaskets. Installed same, and all is well now.
