The phone assistance I received was fabulous. The woman helped to find the replacement part, the number had changed, by comparing illustrations of both parts and measurements. Postal took longer to arrive than expected but when it did the part fit perfectly and the unit is back in service. Will use you again.

Questions & Answers for Valve Plate Assembly

will a broken reed in the valve plate assembly prevent my compressor from building pressure
thomas for model number cap60p-of asked on 2022-05-17
Hello Thomas, Thank you for your inquiry. The purpose of the Valve Plate is to allow air into the cylinder. Once the piston starts traveling up the reeds on the Valve Plate open and air is sent into the air tank, so it can be one of the causes for the compressor not building pressure. We also recommend checking the pressure reducer, the safety valve, and the pressure switch. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
