This OEM chain is a genuine replacement part for chainsaws. The chain features 56 drive links, 3/8 in. chain pitch, and a 0.043 gauge. It is specially designed to fit 16-inch bars. You will need to replace the chain if the cutters are dull, the links are broken or damaged, and the chain is overly stretched. A faulty chain will result in inefficient cutting and serious injury to the operator. To maintain the performance of the chain, it is recommended to sharpen the toothed sections of the chain, known as the cutters, adjust the depth gauges, and maintain adequate tension on the guide bar. Ensure that the chainsaw is off before replacing the faulty part. De-tension the chain and slide it off the guide bar. Place the chain around the sprocket and fit it into the groove on the guide bar. Reinstall the mounting bolts and pull the guide bar upwards to tension the chain before securing it firmly in place.
