Removed the enclosures, covers, fuel tank, carb., muffler, then removed the crankcase cover and the cylinder. Cleaned the gasket areas well then reinstalled the parts with the new gaskets in place. Engine ran well with minor adjustments to the carb. This unit was less than two years old (50 hrs.max usage) and no hard use when it failed. No other problems have occurred, so I thought the repairs were the proper course of action, being that a new unit retails for $229.99.
