    Had to replace the decorative bonnet that covers the valve due to it being stuck and have to destroy it to remove it.

    Leakage through valve in a Kohler single handle faucet

    Pliers, Adjustable Wrench, Allen wrench & Rubber strap wrenc

    The strap wrench was needed to twist off the bonnet while avoiding rotation of faucet body. The cut-away diagram was very helpful. Vaseline petroleum jelly used on all treaded areas.

    Water leak when turning the faucet spout.

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set

    Removed the faucet handle.
    Removed the bonnet.
    Pull out the spout assembly
    Removed the worn out rubber gaskets.
    Cleaned the metals around it, and applied faucet grease.
    Assembled back the spout assembly.
    Replaced the scratched bonnet
    Assembled back the handle.

    Single handle faucet valve leaked

    Installing a new valve in a single control faucet is something almost anyone can do. I used the instructions from the Kohler web very easy.
